Unveiling and hanging ceremony with the Institute of Social Research, University of Michigan 2010 “Irene Hess” 1910-2009.

I have painted portraits, landscape, still life and floral paintings over the past 27 years. Portraiture makes up a large percentage of my portfolio. My paintings and portraits are in private, public and corporate collections around the United States. In 2010, University of Michigan, The Institute of Social Research commissioned me to paint a portrait in oil of “Irene Hess 1910-2009” the first female Statistician in the field of Statistics.  I have exhibited my artworks online, in galleries, group and solo shows from 1987 to present.
I am able to work in several media due to not having chosen to use only one. Painting in oil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic, with charcoal and pen & ink on a few projects. Specializing in People and Pet portraits on commission. I also love to paint plein-air (outdoors when weather permits),nature itself inspires me.
